AAT At Your Facility

Animal Assisted Therapy
"in-a-box"

Individual therapists occasionally have brought their own animals into their work and have seen amazing improvements in their clients. We strive to bring that advantage to every interested therapist and those benefits to every interested client.

We help put the infrastructure in place for everyone to benefit from Animal Assisted Therapy at facilities across Canada and beyond.
The Chimo Project:
 - aids in Policy and Procedure documents
 - prepares a facility to begin using AAT
 - trains therapists and service providers in the use of AAT
 - provides all the paperwork in order to begin an AAT program (i.e. waivers and releases)
 - utilizes resources in the community to find suitable volunteer animal/handler teams (and/or put in place regulations for therapists to use their own animals)
 - helps to avoid pitfalls that can terminate an AAT program
 - aids in finding suitable outcome measures to show the benefits of AAT in your facility
 - helps to ensure the program starts and operates smoothly

Our services can be as simple as a training for therapists or as comprehensive as a full program implementation.

By providing these services at facilities across the country, we make it as easy as an
"Animal Assisted Therapy program in a box!"
